Sports day, Vincennes

Our first annual sports day was held in the beautiful forest of Vincennes, just on the
outskirts of Paris. Many people came along to play tennis, football, pétanque and
volleyball. The relay sack race was the highlight of the day as teams of two bobbed,
hopped and scampered along to get to the finish line. Pointless to say, fair play was
NOT the name of the game! Prizes were offered to the winning teams and the post-
sports picnic gave everyone a chance to relax and unwind after all the strenuous activity.
