Rollerblading- Les Invalides

Despite the warm weather, quite a few people turned up for our first rollerblade outing this year. Beginners and experienced rollerbladers met up at Les Invalides where the tour of the city began: we made our way to the Louvre and then checked out Paris Plage where we managed to rehydrate!! We danced as best as we could on our blades to the beat of Brazilian musicians until a lugubrious storm started to brew. We quickly headed to the Bastille before the torrential rains drenched us from head to toe and everyone enjoyed a pleasant meal before rollerblading back through rue de Rivoli across Concorde and back to our starting point, Les Invalides. Really looking forward to the next rollerblading outing!
