The inspiration for Accents United did not arise from the majestic avenues and
boulevards of gaie Paris but rather from the exotic shores of New Caledonia where
Racquel was involved in an association that organised social events. Back from her
travels, resettled in Paris and contemplating city life, she decided to pursue her idea of
creating an English-speaking association that fostered inter-cultural exchanges AND
raised money for charity. With some help from her friends and a large dose of hard
work, Accents United was born.
